Ellison Bluff State Natural Area is a scenic hiking destination that offers magnificent views along the shoreline of Green Bay in Wisconsin. Situated on the northern tip of Door County, the area offers some of the best hiking and sightseeing opportunities in the area. It consists of 375 acres of bluffs, an open oak-hickory forest, a globally rare calcareous fen, and a deepwater lagoon. The area is home to various wildlife animals like white-tailed deer, red foxes, raccoons, coyotes, woodcocks, and migratory birds. You can also spot some turtles and frogs as well. There are a number of trails at Ellison Bluff, which range from easy to difficult. There are also a few off-trail options for exploration. Visitors can enjoy picnicking and fishing at the shore of Green Bay. Camping is not allowed in the park.
