📍 From Castelo de São Jorge, Portugal
The Elevador de Santa Justa and the Castelo de São Jorge offer two distinct but breathtaking views of Lisbon, Portugal. The incredible Elevador de Santa Justa is an iconic and historic structure, built in 1901 and rising to a height of 45 meters. It was constructed in a neo-Gothic style and is one of the city’s oldest and most recognizable landmarks. At the top of the elevator, visitors can take in a stunning 360-degree bird’s eye view of the city.

The Castelo de São Jorge, on the other hand, was originally built in the reign of Alfonso Henriques in 1147. This beautiful medieval castle continues to loom over the city, offering visitors a chance to take a step back in time. The castle is located on the highest hill of the historic center and offers panoramic views of the cobblestone streets and colorful rooftops of Lisbon. There are also a variety of guided tours available, with exhibits inside the castle that recount the impressive history of the area.
