Victoria Waterfall is a stunning sight located in the Australian Wet Tropics World Heritage Area in northern Queensland. It is one of the few places where the infinity plunge pool – a pool formed when the waterfall plunges directly into the sea – can be found in Australia. The plunging falls are surrounded by lush green rainforest filled with a wide assortment of birds and wildlife. Victoria Waterfall is easily accessed with a short walk from a car park and viewing platforms located at the top of the falls. From the viewing platforms, visitors are rewarded with stunning views of the falls as well as the beauty of the surrounding landscape. It is also an ideal spot to take some of the best photos in the area. There are numerous areas for fishing and recreational activities in the area including kayaking and mountain bike riding. The Victoria Waterfall is an essential site for nature lovers and photographers alike.
