Ejército del Aire, in Madrid, Spain, is located in the eastern part of the city and was opened in 1989. It is a Spanish airforce base which served for reconnaissance, photographic missions and transports. It also serves as an educational centre for military personnel and is open to the public. Visitors can get a guided tour of the facilities and explore the base, the monuments and some of the aircraft on display. In particular, the Cargo Aircraft Museum and the Parachutist Monument are popular attractions. Additionally, there is a picnic area and games zone that the kids can enjoy. Ejército del Aire is a great place to visit and explore and is sure to provide a unique and interesting experience for all.
