Eiffel Tower

The iconic Eiffel Tower is located in the heart of Paris, France. Built in 1889 as the entrance arch for the Exposition Universelle (World Fair), it is now one of the most visited and recognisable monuments in the world. The Tower stands 324 metres tall and on a clear day it can be seen from up to 115 km away. Visitors can take the stairs or elevators to the tower's different levels where they can find restaurants, shops, and of course incredible views over Paris. There are even special LED lights added in 2003, which twinkle for five minutes every hour after dark.
