Ehrenbreitstein

Ehrenbreitstein is an iconic fortress in Koblenz, Germany located on the east bank of the Rhine. Dating back to the 1800s, it was originally used as a military base; during World War II it was restored and used as an administrative center. Today, it is a popular tourist destination and museum, and offers beautiful views of the Rhine and the city of Koblenz. Accessible via a cable car ride, the fortress offers two short guided tours that take visitors through the grounds and inside the fortress. Visitors can also explore the fortress at their own pace and admire the historic structures and beautifully landscaped grounds. There are also two restaurants on the grounds offering German and international foods.
