Église Saint-Zénon
📍 Canada
Église Saint-Zénon is the Roman Catholic parish church at the center of Saint-Zénon, a village in the forested Matawinie area of Quebec’s Lanaudière region. Set along the community’s main street, it reflects the traditional role of the parish church as both a religious focus and a visual anchor for rural Quebec settlements. Its pale masonry, balanced façade and prominent steeple stand out against the surrounding Laurentian landscape, while snow, autumn foliage and changing skies give the exterior distinctly seasonal character. A wider street-level view places the church within the modest village core; closer compositions emphasize the stonework, doors and strong vertical lines of the tower.
