The Edicola votiva di Anzù is a small devotional shrine in Anzù, a hamlet of Feltre in Veneto’s Belluno province. It belongs to the tradition of giving sacred images a place in the everyday landscape, expressing Catholic devotion outside the walls of a church. Above Anzù stands the Sanctuary of Saints Victor and Corona on Monte Miesna, a major landmark in the Feltre area. The edicola offers a more intimate counterpart to that hillside sanctuary, showing how religious heritage is expressed through modest village structures as well as monumental buildings.
