Easterbûtengrêft is one of the oldest canals in the area, dating back to the 19th century, while North Bridge our example of a Dutch Drawbridge. Both attractions create a postcard-worthy scene of old Dutch charm, with the trees and the small colourful homes that line the canals and the bridge. There’s something special about the cobblestone streets, the small world of colourful houseboats, the picturesque charm of the canals and the stillness felt around the North Bridge which adds to the unique beauty of Sloten.
