The Dynastie Monument in Brussels, Belgium, is a sculpture that stands in the center of the city near the seat of the European Union. It was created in honor of the leaders of the nation and portrays four kings seated in a semicircle watching over the city. It was designed by Dutch sculptor Pieter Scheemaeauers and stands 10.5 meters tall. The sculpture is made of stone and painted in gold, bronze and green. The monument represents the four kings who assumed power in Belgium in 1815 - King Leopold I, King Leopold I, King Albert I and King Leopold III. The monument is a popular tourist attraction in Brussels and provides a stunning backdrop to many photographs.
