
The Duomo di Pienza is a stunning Gothic-Renaissance cathedral located in the hilltop town of Pienza, Italy. Built in the 15th century, this grand cathedral sports an impressive façade consisting of a five-tier loggia and a central portal decorated with a series of five stout ten-foot-tall columns. Inside, there is a nave and two aisles adorned with frescoes, columns of various styles, and seven side chapels. The marble altar is the impressive centerpiece. Behind the Duomo is a picturesque piazza where you can sit and take in the surrounding beauty of the enchanting medieval town.
