
Dunnet Head Lighthouse is situated in the north-eastern corner of the Scottish Highland Council, United Kingdom. It is the most north-easterly point of mainland Britain and a popular tourist attraction. The 17-metre high tower stands atop a sheer cliff and is surrounded by seabirds, puffins, seals and other wildlife. The views from the tower are spectacular, with the Orkney Isles visible on a clear day.
