Dunmore Town is the main settlement on Harbour Island, just off the northeastern coast of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Its compact streets are lined with pastel wooden cottages, white picket fences, bougainvillea, and small churches, preserving the character of a historic island community where golf carts and pedestrians set the pace. Along the harbor, docks, boats, and calm water create layered scenes of local activity and reflections; east of town, the island’s renowned pink-sand beach opens onto the Atlantic. Shaded lanes, weathered timber, bright facades, and glimpses of turquoise water define the town’s distinctive visual identity.
