Duinen Valkenisse is a unique nature reserve located in the town of Biggekerke in the Netherlands. It consists of two nature reserves, Nieuwebos and Windbos, each having its own characteristics, diversity in landscape and plenty of flora and fauna. Duinen Valkenisse's diverse landscape ranges from dunes, polders and a lake to woodlands, while its flora include juniper and heather. The reserve has a wide range of birds, and deer, badgers and rare reptiles are spotted as well. Despite its size, this reserve will easily surprise you with its beauty and untouched nature, a sight to behold. Visitors can also explore beautiful sand paths, pavilions and art installations. Don't forget to bring your binoculars so that you can observe the different types of birds.
