📍 France
Dragon Ride is an indoor motion-simulator attraction at Vulcania, the science and leisure park in Saint-Ours-les-Roches, in France’s volcanic Auvergne region. Using projected imagery and moving seats, it turns the mythology of dragons into an immersive ride, providing a fantasy counterpoint to Vulcania’s exhibitions on volcanoes, geology, and natural forces. Its dragon-themed entrance and graphics are the main photographic features, while the experience itself unfolds in a dark theatre. The wider setting links the attraction to the nearby Chaîne des Puys, whose volcanic landscape shapes the park’s identity and earth-sheltered architecture.
