Dove Lake Trail is a picturesque loop track at Australia's deepest lake, Lake St Clair. The 11.6 km trail winds through ancient woodlands and sandstone formations, offering stunning views of the lake and crags. Along the part of the trail known as Secrets Beach, you'll be able to spot wombats and the distinctive eucalyptus smell of the surrounding bushland. Further along the loop, you can find Ronny Creek and The Boat Shed, with access to Lea Lake. A leisurely walk will take about two and a half hours, and the trail is easy enough for most age groups. Be sure to bring along water and snacks, as supplies are sparse.
