Dique Galileo Vitali in Veinticinco de Mayo, Argentina is a stunningly beautiful recreational area. Located in the heart of the countryside, it is surrounded by marshlands, verdant forests, grazing meadows and low hills that roll away into infinity. Located some 230km from Buenos Aires, the area is a birdwatchers paradise, with spectacular scenes of migratory birds soaring against the sky and ducks, geese and other water birds cruising the shallows. Boating, canoeing and rod fishing are popular activities here, or dip a line in from the shore. The marshes also attract other wildlife, and you can spot marsh lions, capybaras, jackrabbits and more, as well as plenty of fish. Take a picnic and spend the day surrounded by nature's beauty.
