The China National Aquatics Center, more commonly known as the Water Cube, is an iconic building located in the Olympic Green and was built to host the swimming, diving and synchronized swimming events of the 2008 Olympics. The Water Cube is wrapped in a lattice of ETFE bubbles and retains a surrealistic, inflatable-like look even after more than a decade of standing in the bustling metropolis of Beijing. It is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike to visit and take in the unique architecture. There are many fun activities to engage in like visits to the 3-D virtual reality cinema, interactive science exhibition and the Water Cube theater. The park also features a wave pool, water massage beds, a bubble swimming pool and soft-play equipment.
