Dent de Valère stands tall over Val-d'Illiez with its 2617 meters. The trek to the top of the jagged peak is possible both in the summer and winter, but can be difficult and needs some technical skills. The view from the top is one of the most spectacular sights of the Swiss alpine region. On the way, you can find pristine alpine meadows, snow-covered slopes, and granite rock walls. The trail has some ascents and descents and takes around 4-5 hours to complete the journey. One of the first steps on the way is to take the Funiculaire St.Clément to reach the resort. Once in the resort, the heavenly view of Val-d'Illiez and nearby mountains is mesmerizing. At the end, the thrill of reaching the top of the peak is worth all the efforts.
