Delicate Arch is an iconic sandstone arch, standing nearly 49 feet high in Castle Valley, Utah, United States. The arch, hikers, and the sweeping backdrop of Spearpoint Mesa, and the La Sal Mountains create an impressive and sought-after photographic composition. Without the use of supplemental stairs, one must traverse a steep terrain while navigating the loose sand and gravel to reach the Arch. While not unreasonably difficult, it is important to consider this in your trip planning. Water, a hat, and sturdy shoes are highly advised for safety. Once there, the photogenic arch is framed perfectly among red rocks and bright blue skies. Be sure to take a turn around it for a unique perspective.
