On the promenade and breakwater, the sea is within comfortable walking distance and the breeze from the North Sea is always pleasant. The longstanding 2km promenade of De Pier is a great place to walk, while the popular beach area has ample deck chairs and umbrellas. Enjoy the view of ships passing by and explore the shops, cafes, and playgrounds in and around the harbor. With plenty of activities and events throughout the year, and spectacular sunsets, De Pier is an excellent location for a great day out.
