📍 From Front, United Kingdom
The Cutty Sark is a historic British sailing clipper ship from 1869. Many of the world’s best known sailing ships were built with the same design. Located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Greater London in the United Kingdom, visitors can now admire this sight from the banks of the River Thames. Its name comes from Robert Burns’ famous “ Tam o' Shanter” poem and her original purpose was cargo transport, the Cutty Sark is now the world’s sole surviving prime example of a 19th-century tea clipper. Visitors can explore the decks, go below deck and discover the ship’s rich history. Exhibits include photographs, hundreds of original artifacts, a virtual-reality experience, interactive displays and information about the vessel’s design and construction.
