Cusco is a historic city in Peru. It was once the capital of the Incan Empire and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also known as the "Navel of the World", a reference to its strategic location in the Andean Mountains. Just outside Cusco is the stunning Jardín Sagrado (Sacred Garden), an oasis of tranquility in the midst of the city.
