📍 Spain
The Cúpula del Salón de Embajadores is an impressive architectural feature of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. This dome and cupola were built in the mid-14th century, and it is a beautiful example of Moorish architecture. It was used for entertaining important guests, and the walls are adorned with intricate stucco decorations. The dome is made up of unusually delicate interlocking brickwork, and its inside is composed of five semi-domes, and a central one on top. The cupola was once used as a lookout point, with a narrow winding staircase leading up to it. It is now one of the most visited places in the Alhambra Palace because of its excellent views over the city of Granada.
