📍 From Mirador del Kiosco del Castillo, Spain
Cuenca is located in the highlands of Spain, in the Autonomous Community of Castilla–La Mancha, and it is known for its well preserved medieval architecture and stunning landscapes. Home to some of the oldest churches in the country, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996.

One of the highlights in Cuenca is the Kiosco del Castillo, a tower encompassed by four pointed towers and thick walls located up on the hill overlooking the city. It was built in the 12th century and its walls were built in the 15th century. Its grounds offer stunning views of Cuenca’s skyline and the surrounding valleys, making it a great spot for photography. The Kiosco itself is a great spot for taking pictures, with its winding stone stairways and balconies. The walls are decorated with masks, symbols, and figures that add their own touch to the landscape.
