Deep within Australia's Cradle Mountain lies Crater Lake. It is an alpine lake and one of the main attractions in this beautiful nature reserve. The lake is renowned for its clear, deep blue water and a stunning mountain backdrop. It is surrounded by lush rainforest, making this tranquil spot a magnificent sight. Crater Lake is a great place to enjoy some light bushwalking, go kayaking and explore some of the surrounding trails. There is also a hidden waterfall tucked away amongst the trees. Wildlife such as wallabies, wombats, platypus and echidnas can also been seen in the area. It is truly a breathtaking experience to behold.
