Crater Lake is one of the most spectacular sights in Cradle Mountain, Australia. The crystal blue waters are surrounded by witch glacial peaks and alpine meadows, making for an incredible and unique setting. The lake can be accessed on foot or via the car park at Ronny Creek. There are also a range of walking and hiking trails around the area which are common among visitors and locals alike. Crater Lake's beauty is best experienced at sunrise or sunset, when the surrounding environment takes on a surreal, mystical glow.
