Craggy Pinnacle Hike
📍 United States
The Craggy Pinnacle Hike is situated in North Carolina's Black Mountain, United States. The hike offers stunning views of the surrounding wilderness, with a 360-degree panoramic view of the Pisgah National Forest.

The journey to the peak of the pinnacle takes hikers on an adventure of about 1.2 miles, with a gentle incline and some steeper sections, arriving at the summit of the mountain. Along the way, hikers can enjoy the sights, colors, and textures of diverse rhododendron, mountain laurel, and heath vegetation, making for an invigorating experience. As hikers reach the summit, they can soak in one of the most spectacular views of the Coyler mountain range, Looking Glass Rock, and Mount Mitchell from its peak. The wind howling through the trees and the sounds of nature make the peak of the Craggy Pinnacle a peaceful place to sit back and admire its beauty. To get to the Craggy Pinnacle Hike, take Exit 64 off the I-40 and drive east of the Black Mountain country. The trailhead is on DeVinney Road, and there are signs directing hikers to the summit. There is a parking lot with a picnic area at the starting point of the hike. Bring plenty of water and wear appropriate clothing; the trail can be very unstable during the summer and winter months. Have a great time on this rewarding journey and enjoy the incredible views at the top.
