Coxtown Cliff

Coxtown Cliff is a popular tourist destination in Ireland. Located at Coxtown Road, it is made up of a distinctive limestone outcrop overlooking the sea. It houses some of the most spectacular coastal cliff sceneries in the whole country. The cliff's height coupled with the coastline's unique geology offers visitors a stunning view of the surrounding countryside. From the highest point, visitors may also be able to see the distant Aran Islands. The cliff walk offers incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean, allowing for great bird-watching opportunities. There is also the possibility to take coastal walks to explore the adjacent rock formations and beach coves. Some of the more adventurous visitors can challenge themselves with a climb up the cliff side.
