Covehead Harbour Lighthouse is an iconic lighthouse located in York, Canada. Located on the eastern end of Prince Edward Island, it stands proudly on the shore and is a popular tourist destination in the area.

The lighthouse is composed of a simple, white tower connected to a white and red-striped lightkeeper’s house, a popular element of lighthouses all over the world. The lighthouse was first built in 1852 to protect vessels from the Covehead Bay. The lighthouse and its surrounding area offer stunning views of the ocean and the surrounding terrain, making it an ideal spot for taking in nature. On clear days, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets can be witnessed from this gorgeous lighthouse. It is easily accessible from Charlottetown and from other coastal locations in the province. There is ample parking near the lighthouse, which allows visitors to explore and take in the scenic views of the shore and the horizon.
