📍 France
Cours Cambronne is an urban area in Nantes, France, and a great spot for a walk with sights of 19th and 20th century architecture. Founded in the 18th century by a naturalist Jean-Baptiste de La Coudre, this spot was built as an arboretum, with an observation tower that can be seen from the centre of the city (called Tour Lu – planting of the pines). Today you can find a wooden landscape in Cours Cambronne, and some of the buildings have recently undergone renovation works so perfect time to come and explore. The parks, gardens and walkways in the area are perfect for exploring and admiring this part of the city. It is also home to Gallerie Des Gardes, an open air art gallery, and the Observatory of Nantes. Take a stroll through the area and find monuments, sculptures, quotations and more as the walk is full of surprises.
