📍 From Below, United States
Corpus Christi's Harbor Bridge is a cantilevered through truss bridge spanning the ship channel leading into the city's harbor. Built in 1959, it stands 137 meters above the channel, making it one of the tallest bridges in Texas. The bridge is part of the structure of the Harbor Bridge Corridor, a large transportation thoroughfare connecting the downtown area with the beachfront. It is open to foot traffic, with pedestrians allowed to walk on top of the bridge for a spectacular view of the city and the nearby USS Lexing. Visitors can also enjoy nearby attractions such as the USS Lexington Museum, the Padre Island National Seashore, Selena Memorial Park, and the Corpus Christi Marina.
