Cornizzolo

Cornizzolo and Belvedere - Cima del Cornizzolo, set high on Salto del Cornizzolo in Civate, Italy is a great spot for travelers to experience panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. This vantage point is especially ideal for photographers as it provides a breathtaking view of the Valtellina foothills, the Grigne Alps peaks, and the entire Lake Como region. There are stands of shrub and beautiful forests full of wildlife. An especially unique part of the trail is the so-called "Harp String," a passage of 16 iron steps that connect the viewing platform of the summit to the higher trails along the ridge. The overall hiking experience at Cima del Cornizzolo is both picturesque and peaceful, with many opportunities to photograph the stunning landscape and the colorful blooms.
