Corbiere Lighthouse
📍 From Corbiere, Jersey
Corbiere Lighthouse is a red and white striped tower built in 1874 to guide sailors off the south coast of Jersey. It is situated on a rocky promontory at the southwestern tip of the island, and looms dramatically at the end of a mile-long causeway from the centre of St. Brelade's Bay, allowing access at low tide. Visitors to this attractive location will especially love the spectacular views out to sea, and over the rugged limestone coasts that give Jersey its distinctive character. Corbiere Lighthouse also provides a prominent subject for photographers, and the pretty coastal path is a great spot for a walk at low tide.
