The Convent de la Mare de Déu dels Àngels is a Franciscan building, built in Horta de Sant Joan, Spain. It is commonly known as the Convent of Saint Salvador, due to its dedication to the saint. The convent was initially built in 1634, but had to be rebuilt due to an earthquake in 1685. It was initially used for Dominican nuns, however the order was abolished in 1835. The building now serves as a museum with wooden altarpieces, different furniture pieces and items used in the convent in the 17th-18th century. It is often used for study visits and educational activities. The building, together with its cloister, has been declared a historical-artistic monument since 1986. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Horta de Sant Joan!
