📍 From French King Bridge, United States
The Connecticut River runs through the state of Massachusetts and borders the states of Vermont, New Hampshire and Connecticut. It's about 401 miles long and is the longest river in New England. One of the most iconic views of the river is the French King Bridge, located in the town of Gill. The bridge originally opened in 1932 and underwent renovations in the 1990s. The stunning view from the bridge gives a wonderful picture of the river and the nearby forests. Visitors can enjoy the calm beauty of the view and take in the sights of the lush green landscape. The French King Bridge offers plenty of outdoor activities, including hiking, canoeing, and camping. There are also a few restaurants and stores along the river within a few miles.
