The Concatedral de Santa María de la Redonda de Logroño sits in the heart of the Spanish city of Logroño. It is considered one of the most important religious architectures in the entire region of La Rioja. It was built in 1620 and originally designed in the Renaissance style. Inside, visitors can admire the ceiling frescoes that date back to 1626 and the 17th-century choir stalls. The highlight of the church is its richly adorned Baroque main altar, made in 1719. The dome contains a painting of the Assumption of Mary by Spanish artist Aureario Ballestero. Outside, the temple stands out for its beautiful bell tower and its main façade, which is characterized by classical symmetry and two Baroque-style portals (the Puerta de los Apóstoles and the Puerta de los Evangelistas).
