The Columns of the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) are one of the most iconic and visited landmarks of the city of Buenos Aires. Built between 1916 and 1919 the columns reflect the rationalist and academic style that gave rise to a series of buildings for the Law Faculty. In 1982, two of the columns were designated as a National Historic Monument, making them a must-see attraction for both locals and travelers alike. With its 20 meters in height, the iconic figure of the columns are a recognizable feature in the city’s skyline. The National Historic Monument is open to the public and makes a great point of interest for travelers and photographers.
