
Collégiale Saint-Martin de Candes is a grand Collegiate church located in the small town of Candes-Saint-Martin, France. Built in the 12th century, the church is incredibly well preserved and showcases a beautiful array of the early Romanesque architectural style. Highlights include the intricately carved arcades, galleries, and thick walls. Inside, take in the church's beautiful organ and stained-glass windows. While visiting, be sure to also check out the nearby Saint-Martin Cemetery, which is thought to contain tombs from as early as 845!
