Coigach Geopod is a small sculptural shelter and interpretation point on the remote Coigach peninsula in Scotland’s northwest Highlands, within the North West Highlands Geopark. Its compact, geometric form creates a striking contrast with the surrounding moorland, ancient rocks and broad coastal horizons. Openings in the structure frame changing views of the peninsula’s rugged peaks and the waters around the Summer Isles, while weathered materials echo the muted tones and textures of the landscape. The exposed setting is especially atmospheric when low cloud, shifting sunlight or Atlantic weather moves across the scene.
