Cochem is an idyllic small town located in the Moselle Valley in Germany. It is overlooked by the Reichsburg Castle, a fortification dating back to the 11th century, making the town a gorgeous sight for both tourists and photographers.
The town is small, but full of things to do for visitors. Aside from visiting the castle, there are plenty of walking trails around Cochem to explore as well as boat tours along the Moselle river. You can also try some local wines at some of Cochem’s wineries or take a stroll along the old town's cobblestone streets. And of course, no trip to Cochem would be complete without exploring its beautiful gardens and terraces overlooking the river. It’s the perfect spot to take some amazing shots of the valley or the old town.
