📍 Malaysia
The Church of St. Francis Xavier stands in central Melaka, a short walk from Dutch Square and St. Paul’s Hill. Its twin towers and pointed-arch details distinguish the Gothic-inspired façade from the old town’s surrounding streetscape. The church is dedicated to the Jesuit missionary who visited Melaka in the 16th century. After his death, his remains rested for a time on nearby St. Paul’s Hill before being taken to Goa, giving the two sites a connection beyond their proximity.
