Church of Saint Peter

The beautiful Church of Saint Peter in Modica, Italy is a must-see when visiting the region. This Baroque-style church was built in the 15th century and is the tallest building in the city. The outside of the building is decorated with sculptures and reliefs in the stile lombardo. Inside the church there is a lovely chapel, a large painting depicting the Entombment of Christ, and a richly decorated high altar. There are also side chapels, an organ, and a balustrade which surrounds the chapel. There is also a bell tower on the roof, charmingly decorated with red and white tiles. Visitors can explore the rooftop for stunning views of the valley and the nearby town. Although the church does not hold services, it is a great spot for travelers and photographers to explore.
