Chiesa di San Frediano in Cestello is a Baroque church in the Oltrarno district of Florence, Italy. This beautiful church dates back to the 17th century and features ornate interior decorations. There are lovely frescoes and lavish sculptures, as well as a magnificent choir behind the main altar. The main attraction of the church is the shrine of St Frediano located in the main aisle. The shrine is constructed with marble and features some exquisite frescoes. The painting of the crucifixion of St Frediano is particularly notable. The church also houses a beautiful organ from 1785. Mass is still held here, and visitors are welcome to attend as well as admire the architecture and artwork.
