Chiesa dei Santi Martino e Urbano, located in the Italian town of Valdidentro, is an important symbol of the Valtellina Valley, where it has overlooked the surroundings for centuries. The building, a late Romanesque-style three-nave church, was built in the 11th century and retains many of its original features, including a 12th-century bell tower. Inside, the nave, adorned with an unusual fresco, offers an insight into the amazing artistic heritage of this period. This picturesque church is a popular tourist spot and its striking external form, especially when seen from the nearby slopes, makes for a great photo opportunity.
