The Chiesa Collegiata dei SS. Pietro e Stefano is situated in the beautiful Swiss town of Bellinzona. The structure dates back to the late 12th century and is a stunning example of Romanesque architecture. It is known for its striking bell tower, which is the tallest in all of Switzerland. Inside, the wide nave, decorated with frescoes from the 14th century, is a highlight. The church is also home to two tombs, and a beautiful crucifix – a work of art from the disease 16th century. In the churchyard there is a Romanesque baptistery, which is wonderfully preserved. The Chiesa Collegiata dei SS. Pietro e Stefano is a must-see when visiting Bellinzona and a delightful addition to any photo portfolio.
