The gorgeous Chicago Lake Front Trail is a popular 18-mile route that traces the entire shoreline of Lake Michigan in the city of Chicago. It features stunning lakeviews, lush green parks, winding beaches, breathtaking architecture, and a wide variety of recreational activities.The trail is divided into two sections – the Northern Trail and the Southern Trail. The Northern Trail stretches from the Lincoln Park neighborhood to the Northerly Island Park, offering beautiful skyline views of the city, the famous Navy Pier and the stunning architecture of the lakefront. There are various beach access points along this route, which is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and beach volleyball.

The Southern Trail passes through the movie-famous Grant Park, Chicago’s 24.5-acre Millennium Park and the Museum Campus. Any traveler can easily rent a bike and explore these magnificent locations. Other attractions along this trail include the hot dog stands, wheelchair rentals, public art displays, and even ice skating rinks.
