Bonn, Germany's charming Cherry Blossom Avenue is a popular attraction for tourists and locals alike. Every spring, a 4-kilometer stretch of trees along the Rhine River erupt in a collection of vibrant blossoms, turning the area into a picturesque, fairytale-like sight. The trees, which are located on the banks of both sides of the river, are known as Yoshino and Akebono cherry trees. The area is a great spot for photography, with plenty of vantage points for perfect shots, free parking spots, and a well-developed tourist trail winding through the blooms. However, visitors should be aware that the flowers are only in bloom for a short period of time each year, so if you are planning to travel to witness them, make sure to plan accordingly!
