Château de la Roche is a 10th century castle located on a hilltop in the small village of Saint-Priest-la-Roche in Auvergne, France. This castle is one of the oldest in the region and stands proudly on a rocky promontory. Built on the ruins of two former fortresses, it features a 13th century keep, a 12th and 16th century octagonal chapel and 50-foot-high walls in the courtyard. The views extend far and wide, with the green rolling landscape of Auvergne stretching in all directions. The castle is open to the public and visitors can take a guided tour.
