
Chartres Cathedral is a beautiful medieval Gothic cathedral located in the city of Chartres, France. Built from 1194 to 1250, it is one of the largest and best preserved churches in the country. Its stained-glass windows are breathtakingly intricate, and its sculptures and architecture are impressive. The interior is dominated by an immense 42-meter-high nave, while the exterior is flanked by two towers, each measuring 105 meters in height. It is one of the earliest examples of the Rayonnant style of Gothic architecture, and is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Both inside and out, the cathedral is a must-see destination for travelers and photographers alike!
